Tennessee tight ends coach Alec Abeln spent Thursday working through multiple schools in Ohio. On Friday, he will work through several schools in North Carolina, including checking on top 2026 tight end target Kendre Harrison.

We saw several impressive 2026 players like Kendre Harrison, who is very intrigued by Tennessee. He plays on a Knoxville based AAU team and noted to us that his mom loves the vibe here in East Tennessee.

Heupel is trying to recruit a basketball team with this 6'8 power forward.

As a freshman this year, Harrison recorded 17 receptions for 263 yards and 5 TDs. But it was on defense that he really shined: 92 tackles, 24 TFL, 9 sacks, 16 QB hurries and 2 blocked punts.

Harrison's also a basketball standout and is currently averaging 22.5 points and 13.7 rebounds per game.

Mack knew the states of LA, TX, NC, and VA very well from his previous jobs. Will be important IMO for them to get someone that can at least attack NC/VA

2026 TE Kendre Harrison was the surprise visitor of the weekend, and he had a good visit. He was joined by his mom, and as we have said before, the family really likes Knoxville. He plans to return to campus in June as his relationship has continued to grow with Alec Abeln.
