One of the few things Hart actually got right, by hiring him.

After the Donnie T hire, Barnes was the safest and easiest hire Hart could make. The fact that Barnes wasn’t completely washed up and wasted as a coach surprised many.

Yup, assistants got big raise...Lanier now 2nd highest assistant in SEC behind UK’s Kenny Payne.

This is as important to me as Barnes getting the raise/extension. Lanier's gonna be a head coach at some point...am hoping he has a chance to be here once Barnes decides to retire.
