DT is a tragic story... could have had a monster career in the Dr J, Bird, Magic era but injuries and other things derailed that.

An even more tragic story was the guy who created the template for Thompson, Julius, and Jordan - Connie Hawkins. Lumped into the great college gambling scandal in the '60's and banned from the NBA until he was on his last legs, Hawk was about 20 years before his time.
