Context is your friend. He was posting on a UT board concerning all of the “great” players on your team....so yeah, in that context, no one cares

Fans are so fickle. Fla is like Louisiana, open the window, toss a rock and you'll probably hit a 4/5 star stud. Those rosters will always have talent and depth. If a coach can't win a minimum of 9 games at those schools he sux.

Given that argument, how many games should a good coach win at Mississippi State, given the available HS talent in that state, compared to Florida or Louisiana?

If Mississippi State ever had a really good coach, how high do you think they could be ranked nationally?

Some of this is the same stupidity (yes, it's stupidity) that people engaged in regarding James Franklin.

There were people that seriously questioned what he ever won at Vanderbilt, as if Vanderbilt was supposed to win a conference title or something.

Dude won 9 games at Vanderbilt and people questioned his ability to coach. Mississippi State was actually ranked #1 in the month of November and people don't recognize that as one of the greater sports miracles that occurred during their lifetime.

The option that led to big gains for Perine yesterday

Not to mention the ballsy trick plays
