I’ve been using the Outlook app recently. I’m not typically a huge fan of Microsodt products but it’s a solid app.

Gmail. All of my accounts are Gmail accounts and I also absolutely refuse to link my work email to my phone.

You guys on Android or iOS? The thing I didn’t like about the gmail app on iOS is that it has limited functionality for setting a criteria for which to get notifications.

Oddly, on Android it lets you customize notifications by labels, which is nice. Not an option on iOS though, at least not that I’ve discovered.

Outlook App for Exchange based emails.

GMail for everything else. You can even use the GMail app for Exchange now on Android.

Bluemail for me. When I got the pixel, it didn't have an email app. I looked at the store and tried bluemail and it has been solid.
