My friend at Oak Ridge HS was a bit of a bully, and he was picking on a kid that was a lot bigger than him (the kid was a better athlete, too). They argued back and forth and my friend sprayed soda in his face and that was the end of it. We were walking to the Lifter's Club (I hope somebody here knows the LC and can appreciate that detail) and the kid's Dad pulled over and tried to get them to fight. My friend backed down. He said, "I'm not gonna fight someone with his Dad right there." I thought he pussed out, but maybe he made the right choice. As a Father, how are you going to stay out of it if you see your son taking some damage. That's a hard thing.
