Our family got hooked last summer after game was a birthday gift for our daughter in law. Setup is very important but not always a death nail.

We have it but haven't played it yet. I grew up with Risk and Axis & Allies. We've enjoyed Carassonne recently. I'll push to learn Catan soon.

My daughter and son-in-law love it and have dragged me into it. They say there is a new Game of Thrones version, maybe multiple ones.

I can't stand it when people build close to me to start the game. I strategically set up my pieces in spots where I think people will avoid me, so if they do set up next to me, I get so pissed. My cousin sabotaged both of us last time I played.
