Imagine Butch wearing a trench coat and Fedora, standing under a dim street light on Gay Street, Camel cig hanging from the corner of his mouth.......

And now, my end is near
And so I face my final Bama a$$ whippin
Vol fans, I'll say it clear
I know all of VolNation is trippin
I've coached this team way down
Lack of coaching has caused lots of hurtin
But more, much more than this
I did it my way

Regrets, I have a few
But many millions will soothe my frustration
I did what the chart said to do
To you it must've felt like castration
I called each charted play
Each careful step along the sideline
And more, much more than this
I did it my way

Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew
Facing first and goal, we were screwed
But through it all, when there was doubt
I called pass plays and left John Kelly out
I faced it all and I stood tall
And did it my way
I made the calls, without any balls, and DID IT MY F'D UP WAAAAAAAAY

Butch puts his spin on an old Frank Sinatra classic....

And now, my end is near
And so I face my final Bama a$$ whippin
Vol fans, I'll say it clear
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain
I've coached this team way down
Lack of coaching has caused a lot of hurtin

OP must have written this at work today. Pink slip impending.:whistling:

Actually I did.....I heard the song as I was flipping stations in the car this morning. It kinda stuck in my head and for some reason...Butch came to mind.

Hopefully he gets his Pink Slip sooner than me!! :good!:

Maybe the OP subconsciously remembered the last johnny majors show. They showed a career highlight montage with my way playing in the background. It was Elvis' my way instead of Sinatra's mind you, but my way nevertheless.

Did you get a new trailer OP?

That's rich.....a dude from Woodstock Ga yanking somebody about living in a trailer. If you go to the Woodstock WalMart on Hwy 92 and select 8 Woodstockians at random, you might get a full set of teeth. :hi:
