I know how some of you feel about chain restaurants but I found something great at Carrabba's. It's a take on a caprese salad but they use burrata instead of just regular mozzarella. I might have had burrata before and just don't remember it but it's great! It's basically a shell of mozzarella stuffed with another soft cheese that's made from cream and mozzarella mixed. It's a great creamy, light flavor.

Carrabbas is one of if not the best chains. Ask them for the sugo rosa sauce on your pasta the next time you go.

That's what I make when I make pasta sauce. Simple, easy, & quick. 10 X better than the jarred stuff.

It takes 10-15 minutes tops to make an excellent pasta sauce.

And I refuse to buy boxed pasta after buying the refrigerated "fresh" stuff. It's just so much better.

Agree. A good Italian market/deli is worth its weight in gold for such items.

Buitoni. It's in the fridge section at Target, Lowes Foods, etc.. Once you try this you'll never go back to hard boxed pasta.

That's partly why I asked because the majority of "fresh refrigerated pasta" I've found was already stuffed or flavored in some way. Have you ever seen fresh angel hair?
