Great. We all know people are much smarter about sports than computers. I mean, humans know everything. They knew Detroit would whip the Lakers. Humans knew for a fact that the Marlins would beat the Yanks last year. I liked the computers because they gave a much better estimation than a bunch of arm chair QBs that watch SportsCenter all day.

I agree. I had a sinking feeling when I read that article that our SEC teams would not fare too well with the new formula.

Not that I really care about the OTHER teams in the SEC, but it seems like the SEC always has to struggle for respect anyway.

The good thing about this is that it takes away the quality win componet. Why should you be penalized for playing in a championship game when not all of the conferences have them?
