[b]I thought it was his shoulder pad that hit.* But this UF guy says it was helmet to leg, no questions asked. | It looked to me like his shoulder pad. Either way, he hit Caldwell at a fulled head of steam.

UF still plays 3 more top 7 teams..not to mention Bama at 15 so it is possible...but I like what I saw in Meyer for that UT game...he beat the best coach in the league at his own game...that is a sign of a great coach.

| It was Karl, They(kick off ST) were told at half to go out and HIT someone and set a tempo.
Karl was also diving to avoid a block and still make the tackle..

| I didn't see anything suspicious about it. Just a hard hit on a weak spot. Hope he makes a full recovery and makes trouble for you next year!! |

| there is a picture of it online though i dont have it on here. it was clearly helmet to leg. it was spearing, but not dirty. 11 players were flying down the field to make a play and an unfortunate hit happened. caldwells blocker, #18, missed his block and karl flew over him trying to hit caldwell in the side and bring him down. caldwell turned away from the pile and ran right into karl. technically, it was a spear, but not dirty.
as for the break, swamp gas had a topic on it and some were talking about how it looked like it was on the neck of the bone and not midshaft. a midshaft break would be ok and the bone could reheal by itself and not require surgery. since it might be the neck, it would require immediate surgery because it cant heal by itself. this could potentially affect his career, he will most likely not be close to as good as he was before the injury, and there is a very slight chance that he may never play again.
as for u, int, maybe u can get hit by a train and burn in hell. im a ut fan through and through, but that is low class and its embarrasing to see fans like u. |
