did anyone see SC run the PROWL defense that was started by tennessee in 2001 i believe where the D lineman start from upright position... i saw it last week and thats BS if they took that ish from us ... Your Thoughts!?!?!?!?

The defense is a creation of Joe Lee Dunn who has been a defensive coordinator in about 5 places and was a head coach at New Mexico I think. We stole it from him.

My thoughts? If UGA would have pounded it more often, it would have been a one-sided affair.

wasnt joe lee dun the dcoordinator for miss st in the 98 season... i remember hearin his name for some reason whenever i watch films from teh SEC champ game. I believe that was him

The fact is, SC has a decent defense, especially the secondary. Ko Simpson is one of the best.

if someone is running the prowl...Run the football.....ur lineman dont touch anyone until 3 yards down field......thats atleast 3+ yards everytime....and Shockley shouldve been picked atleast 3 times....2 were dropped by Ko Simpson....they do have a good D tho....but the way they jump routes.....give 'em the ole pump and go and lets see how quick he is to jump another rout....
