| I'm sure even the best of offenses have an off day. We will see whether or not he has an off day against us.

[b]Watching the local news tonight (tallahassee, fl.) and saw that UF's scrimage this morning didn't go as well as planned.* The sports guy on the news said it looked downright sorry. Dropped snaps, fumbles, etc.* Urban got pissed eventually and had a good talk with them and it got a little better.* Hmm, Urban is having trouble with an offense facing a real defence? surprised? i'm not.* * |
And I really wouldnt call UF's defense a real defense. They have plenty of ?'s and poor player distribution.

[b]Welcome to the SEC. | I was just going to say that, I hope Meyer doesn't think the defenses in the SEC and going to stand still like they do in his virtual playbook on the si.com website. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/football/...rtual.playbook/ |

The scrimmage results were much different that the team's last scrimmage, the Orange and Blue game that capped spring practice. In that game, the offense ran up and down the field against the defense. However, the defense wasn't allowed to blitz.
"(Blitzing) makes it a lot different," said Leak,
You think ?
he should have finished by saying I hope Tenneesse doesn't blitz us |

| i thought it was interesting how fast they pulled leak and put in the backups - maybe he doesn't fit the system as well as they thought??? I seem to remember that he doesn't play to well when he gets flushed - |

I seem to remember that he doesn't play to well when he gets flushed - | He becomes undone rather quickly when he gets pressured and sacked. Consequently he begins to make stupid mistakes, this is usually a sign of immaturity but in Leak’s case it seems to be more than that. I believe getting Leak to play in Meyer’s system will be Meyer’s hardest struggle for the next two seasons. Leak is an excellent pocket passer when he has time, but time is not a luxury in the SEC and that's not how Meyers won his games. |

| Come on...it was just one practice.
I think UF will flop too but I wont base it off this one practice

No but I didn't expect the second coming to be faulted by his team having a bad practice. |

| Haha, relax guys. When you have a new offense, esp. one with a lot of reeds, checks, and require a lot of thinking and good timing, youre not gonna do so good the first day, or maybe week for that matter. So when the D has seen the O and practiced against it, and the O is still learning what theyre doing, yeah, the O is gonna struggle. Give it time.
One thing you're overlooking if you dont use this logic though, is how good is the D doing? All the attention is on the O, but I think the D will be VERY improved. Strong finally gets to use his style and call his plays.
