Saban has an inate ability to inspire.
Everybody in the SEC has talent.
He has gotten to that rare air in coaching where he can just look at at kid harshly and it makes him try harder.
A kid has to believe that aside from any physical ability....that his coach has something "extra" that gets him over the hump.
To me......"believing" is absolutely the most fundamental and number 1 trait that players must have before they can be champions.
Our team just doesn't have anything remotely close to it right now and there has to be some catalyst that creates it.
Getting a new coach doesn't always do it. It has to be the right coach. It has to be that one coach that stands out.
Not sure if he's out there and available right now. It's a huge decision.
