| How well have you taught your kids? HI! I'm starting a new thread at the advice of Volsgal03 to introduce myself. My name is Amanda. I live in GA and I LOVE Tennessee..just like most others on here...at least the loving UT part.
My son is in kindergarten and for picture day last week he decided he wanted to wear his Tennessee tie! His parapro is also a huge fan! When he was very small he used to tell me he was gonna play "pootball" for Tennessee!
My 3 year old sees anything orange and calls it "Tennessee ball". We were at a Mexican restaurant on Sunday and he took the little toothpick flag off the plate and started chanting, "Go Big Orange!"
I'd say I have taught mine pretty well, so far! How 'bout y'all? |

| My 9 yo is playing football this year. Last night at practice, I noticed another Dad had on a bammer shirt.
I told my 2 yo, "go over there and yell "go Vols!" Being an obedient son he obeyed me.
Also, before he could talk, I got him booing everytime I said "florida gators". |

| Every time my 3 year old son sees the letter T in any context he says "Go Vols".
He makes the letter T out of straws and silverware, too.
My wife's parents live close to the Bama border (in Winchester) and he was going for a visit. He was really excited that he was going to get to go to Huntsville to some sort of dinosaur museum. He was going on and on about how excited he was about going to Alabama. He suddenly stopped and said emphatically "But they DON'T have a great football team"

Heck, I dont limit myself to my kids, either.
We had a big group from church to our house one night. One of the ladies was born an Bamy and is totally indoctrinated. Her 4 yo boy was in my boys room and found an orange & white shaker, to which he asked, "whats this?"
I told him to run down the hall and shake that thing while hollerin "Go big orange!!"
LOL! His mom was not particularly pleased. |

| I live in Florida and when my oldest son was in pre-school he threw away the blue crayon in his box, because
"orange and blue don't belong together -- that's gross!"
I was a happy dad... |
