| Could We Have Stood One More Clausen? Ole' Jimmy is doing pretty well at ND. Makes me kinda wish we could have had him here...compared to our present quarterback situation. Remember when everybody was on here saying "who needs the Clausen's"? Guess we messed up and missed that opportunity. He looks like a very good quarterback. Be careful what you wish for, huh?
No sense in spending to much time on the "what if's" this is just an observation- and a sad one at that. |

| Jimmy Clausen was recruited hard since his brother Casey showed up in Knoxville. As I understand it he had the run of the facilities any time he showed up for a game or was on campus. Ricks trials and tribulations led to his dad and he closing the door on UT.
Just remember everyone wanted him including Carrol, Spurrier, Meyer, etc. One of the most recruited players from 9th grade on. He was supposed to be "the Lebron James of high school football." |

| I am very glad we don't have him. I can't stand him. He would have been a turnover machine on our team. Everyone would be asking for Crompton. |

| I'll ride with Stephens. I don't want any ND crap or anymore Clausens. Rick wasn't any good and his brother still hasn't shown me anything. Hasn't won a big game to merit me wanting him as a QB. But Stephens will be a very good QB. |

| Uh, well, unfortunately, compared to what we have had at quarterback this season, he looks good. He actually throws to receivers and downfield (as opposed to over the heads on the sidelines and defenders). He had over 300 yards on Sat. with two TD's, I believe.
I was just wondering...

| True, Nick Stevens is a much better QB than Crompton. I was comparing both of them together against Clausen. Check the stats.. Anyway, it is a moot point b/c he ain't here. It just got me to thinking when I saw the highlights of the ND game. |

| Can we get a look at B.J. Coleman too? I mean, our coaches couldn't figure out that Crompton was no good so maybe Coleman is even better than they think. |

| The ND O-line has greatly improved this year making the QB look much better. Now add that to ND's weak schedule and clasuen looks great. ND has to play USC at the end of the year. We will see how great he is then. |
