Really like a guy like this. I would take a mobile QB any day over a pocket passer.

I was at the Hampton-Phoebus game Friday night, and the winner of that game usually wins the VA state title (one of those 2 have won it 19 out of the last 23 years) and Tahj looked awesome, cool, composed, managed the game against a really good Hampton D....didn't have amazing passing stats in the game but he didn't need to, he was able to read the defenses and audibled when he needed to. He could be the next great scrambling qb to come out of the Peninsula District (Vick I, Vick II, Ronald Curry, Tyrod Taylor...ect.) He could really turn us around should we still have protection issues with our O-line again in the future. It was his leadership that led Phoebus to a 42-6 win over their biggest rival and biggest competition in the District. Phoebus was ranked #11 in the nation by Rivals High School last I saw and went 5 games without being scored upon and outscoring their opponents by an average of 58 pts and crushed my alma mater mercilessly. This guy is the real deal, I just hope we can get him because he would be a great option style qb to run some sort of option package with G.Jones or E.Berry on offense. I wish I could get a hold of some clips from fridays game, he was sick-nasty.

It would be huge to get this guy. The only question is would our current coaching situation deter a prospect like this from coming here?

All the more reason why the raise/extension being used as a recruiting tool doesn't hold water.
