| Sad...very sad...A Tennessee Legend, who could never beat bama...would join them. It's a dark day for UT, what more can be said!

| Majors beat bamma from '82 through '85. In '82 they came in as the #2 team in the country. |

| Thanks for posting the link Eric.
Some good stuff...
The friction with Fulmer is lengendary, of course.
Majors likes Chavis, right?
Enjoyed hearing Coach Majors' recollection of Bear
Bryant and playing againt the Tide when they were the real Alabama (not his words, but mine). His thoughts that they haven't been the same is so true, but Saban is moving them in that direction. Alabama may become what it once was--and, if that happens, we'll forget about Florida and Georgia as having any chance of being the toughest game on the schedule.
Enjoyed Majors thoughts on the coaching styles he modeled himself after. Majors' style, hard-nosed, really gave the much softer style of Fulmer the opening to exploit it. CPF was a bad pick as OC for Majors because no head coach needs an assistant who's 'softer than he is.'
Coach Johnny Majors is a Tennessee hero and I do hope the day when UT embraces him for all that he's done for the program comes soon. It's a real shame the way things went when he left. Ironically, CPF was viewed the best up-and-coming, young gun UT could hope to hire back then.
UT football needs to manage relationships with these two guys in a healthy way. If Ham can do that after Fulmer exits, he's earned his paycheck. |

| Finebaum hated Majors when he was the UT head football coach. Johnny is just too old and senile to realize that he is being manipulated by that little baldheaded weasel, who's journalistic skills are about like you-know-who's qualifications to be our next President. True UT fans don't listen to Fartbaum!!! |

True UT fans don't listen to Fartbaum!!! | The only interest Slimebum has in Majors is to provide more garbage about Fulmer to feed the bammers. They hate TN, no matter who the coach is, and I can't imagine any sports figure, other than a bammer, ever giving that guy the time of day. He is not a sports journalist, he is an agitator who makes his $ stroking the bammers. |

I guess Bobby Dodd should be tossed out of the UTK sports hall of fame since he spent so much of his life supporting Ga Tech? |
