I'm not sure how the process works now for the student tickets, but i'm assuming that there were only a few days to sell what tickets were left over, plus there were probably a lot of students that had already purchased tickets and didn't go.

i think the original intent of the question was, by eliminating student seats, which i do think is dumb and not going to happen btw, it would open up season ticket opportunties that didn't previously exist for many that still want them, and would still buy them if they had the opportunity.

Suffice to say, eliminating student seating would be a massive PR blunder.

well, blunder or not, supply and demand will dictate what happens with those seats.

he's not going to do anything with them, i do believe that, because students will come back.

but, if over a long enough time line, there's tickets not sold to students, he'd be stuipd for not realigning the student alltoment and making them availabe to the public.

I mean I wouldn't be surprised if it did happen, but that would mean the team is struggling so bad people on campus aren't willing to pay $15 and walk to the game.

There were a lot more than just students who didn't attend the UAB game, and I think student tickets will be the least of the AD's worries at that point.

The 3 sections in the upper deck are student sections, yes. The thin lower sections in the corner are also student sections, but they filled up pretty good about 5 minutes into the game.
