I need some guidance. Some buddies and I are RV'ing in for the Florida game. I have never RV'd to a home game.

Where is the best place to park? We want to set up Friday afternoon/evening and stay in the same spot all weekend.

Any other tips?

Thanks in advance for the help.

i've seen RVs at the ag campus parking lot, and on the top level of the civic center parking garage. no hookups.

Unless you want to drop 15 large, the bold applies to your situation....

From UTSports.com:

"The RV park for Vol fans is adjacent to Regal Soccer Stadium on Leinard Lane off of Neyland Drive. The area features spacious, numbered RV spots, electrical and water hook-ups at each space and a sanitary off-load station on the site. In addition, the area features a game day train shuttle transporting RV donors to Lake Loudoun Boulevard. The area is designed to accommodate 50 permanent spaces on 140,000 square feet of newly paved surface.

Each space is available for a commitment of $15,000 to the project. The gift will be made in five annual installments of $3000 on the schedule outlined on the letter of intent. The donors making the commitment must be either current VASF donors or Alumni Association donors.

There will be no recreational vehicle parking on the main campus without a permit. RV's will find parking at the Civic Coliseum and at the Blackstock Street lot located behind the Foundry at the North World's Fair area. The cost is $25 per day, with room for approximately 100 RVs and hookups for 20. Security will be provided at the Coliseum site beginning Friday after 3 p.m. KAT Shuttle service to Neyland Stadium is available. "

This has been a few years ago, so my info may be out of date. That said, there is a parking lot near where grand ave. and 11th St. meet in the fort that had a lot of RVs in it when I was there in '05. It is kind of out of the way and under Western Ave in that area. It was a pretty laid back party atmosphere.

Edit: Not sure what kind of RR traffic there is. Caveat Emptor

If anyone has any more recent info about this area, please post.
