I think one thing we should consider about Hopson is that he's extremely GREEN. He's playing against guys who have had the benefit of playing for a college coach, doing college conditioning, and practicing every day with college players.

This guy may just be in over his head a tad bit considering he JUST graduated high school. I'm not making any excuses for him, because frankly there's no need for excuses. I hope he's learning and getting a step or two quicker this summer.

If anything, he's getting a huge benefit by virtue of playing against this type of competition NOW rather than dealing with his growing pains in the beginning of the season.
