Post-Spring/ Pre-Fall Depth Chart

I have a couple problems with our Depth chart...

Rogan starting over Vinson?

Thought McKenzie was a DB?

I'm pissed that Chris Donald isn't doing better than he is

IMO, our weakest position looks like LB, McCoy is McCoy but beside him, looks like trouble

Also, I had an issue with Arian returning kicks last year, but I immediately ate crow when he started bringing back to the 50. So if he is returning kicks this year, I'm okay with that

i think he was at KR for only like the first 3 games

McKenzie moved to LB half way through the season last year because he was horrible in coverage

How did you get that from the two links that I posted? The Rivals one doesn't have Johnson on it (I think he might have hurt or something), but neither one of them have Evans over Vinson. The UTSports.com one doesn't have Evans over Johnson either.

must have misread the rival depth chart, but they do have Evans over Johnson there. Might be because Johnson is injured but so are some of the other players on that depth chart

That and the fact that he's extremely dangerous blitzing from the LB posistion...He's very athletic for a LB.


Does anyone think Daryl Vereen will make any kind of impact whether its special team returns or coverage? I think he's plenty athletic to do either one.

Little surprised Wilson beats out Meyers-White for a starting LB position, though they are playing different LB positions.

I think Stocker or Warren might be asked to play H-Back and Cottam play TE, to get both of them on the field. Also thought the fullback who got hurt last season, Holbert, got another season of elgibility. He should start.

He got his (left?) knee destroyed in the first major scrimmage of spring practice. From what I saw, he'll be lucky not to have some degree of disability afterwards.

I think the best position race with clearly the CB's. they all have experience and are all very talented.

Cooper will be starting FB

I was the one that asked about Ahmad's weight. That's all that young man needed was some weight and he's ready to go, thanks for the info.

If they were battling for the same LB spot I bet you would see Myers-White over him but Wilson is the only experienced MLB we have...well Reveiz got some snaps last year...

But honestly...I'm putting my eggs in the Gerald Williams basket for that position...man, I hope he's as good as they say...and if so...I hope he's starting before the UF game

Had no idea about McKenzie being so good at LB. Good to hear. I can't wait much longer
