This may be a kind of pointles thread, but i have always been fascinated by the numbers that players wear.
I was wondering what numbers yall think our newcomers should/will wear this seaon, heres what i think:

Hopson-31
Negedu-42
Maze-3
Wooldridge-8
Jurick-55
West-12 (or 11 if he doesnt want to wear Ramar's old number)

Also, does anyone know what numbers these players wore for rocky top league?

They have already announced some of them:
32- Scotty Hopson
3-Bobby Maze
12-Daniel West

Jurick and Woolridge are listed on the UTSports.com site with no numbers, Negedu isn't listed at all.

(You can't have #8 in the college game, all numbers have to be 0-5 on the jerseys so the ref can call the fouls into the scorers' table with one hand, same as high school. In the pros, they use higher numbers because the refs call in fouls by using the player's name. #'s 1 and 2 were also considered 'illegal' until a few years ago, in order to prevent confusion when calling a 1-free throw or 2-free throw foul.)

I believe either Brent Hubbs or Rob Lewis said on VolQuest that West is actually going to wear #2 this season, not #12.
