| I'd buy seat backs, if the cost was similar. |

| But they're farther from the field.
For example, I can get W row 20 for less than Q row 58, but the Q 58 is angled and kinda far, but seatbacks.

| Higher up never bothered me, in some ways I prefer it. I was thinking your dad might enjoy the seat backs. But you would know his preferences better than anyone else. |

| I usually get to sit in Section Z for at least one game... good seats (especially when UT is scoring), but you're near the visitors section. That sucked during the '06 Fla. game.

What sections are permanent seat back sections?
Also, when sitting in a seat back cushion chair, does it make you feel THAT much more comfortable and less cramped?
Here is a picture from section Q row 50. When I arrive, is it a better view than the picture?

| The good thing about seat backs is that you have your own space. Your seat is "marked". Where as if you don't have them you could be more squeezed together. I have always thought that row 20 was perfect in neyland, but depending on how your father can handle the metal bleachers with no back the seat backs might be better. Either way, you are getting a good seat.

I don't know the answer to your question in bold.
I think they are much more comfortable than sitting on a bench but I don't have regular experience sitting in them. Someone else in here probably does.
Can't give you a definite answer on the last one either. I have just seen very few bad seats in that stadium, mostly the really low row seats. |

Here's the question: Do i buy seats in section W or R, 20 rows up, but crowded in bleachers, or do I buy section Q or P, higher up (40-55) with the seats backs? Is it still amazingly crowded in those seats? | it really just depends on how big you guys are... and then how much you'll be sitting as opposed to standing. then is having the chair backs more preferrable than proximity to the field, I prefer the latter.

| Well, I called UT about the seat backs, and only the upper deck have the permanent seat backs. Section Q, it would be the cushion with the back to it, that the person who owns the seats bought - I think.

| If you're going to the Fla game and your sitting in the lower section, you're probably going to be standing for part of the game, so keep that in mind. In the 2004 Fla game I was in Sect. R on the 2nd row...that was a bad seat. I watched the whole game on the Jumbo Tron. I agree with Volman, you can't beat row 20.
What a great game though! |

| My aunt and uncle had season tickets last year in W and I got to be in those seats for the games they didn't use. I have the stubs at home, but I can't remember what row they were on, it was late teens or early 20's, but the one bad thing about it was that we were just above the path break for the lower rows of the lower level which sucked because there was always a constant flow of traffic. Not fun to watch over or around. |
