| How can a "great" player possibly be overrated? |

| I remember I did this last year and my "under" guy was Montario. I've been wanting to say this for awhile, but Austin Johnson. If he doesn't have to move to back to linebacker because of some freakish LB injury bug.
First time we've had a FB in 2 years, and he isn't even the starter I don't think. So if he scores once or gets a positive carry this years prediction can't be as bad as last years. |

| Is anyone afraid that Eric Berry will end up over-rated?
Before the lynching starts hear me out.....I think he's a great player....but he is getting a TON of hype....
I know I'm not te first on here to question whether or not its possible for him to live up to that hype...
I think he is going to have a great season....but if the definition of over-rated is the inabaility to live up to your hype then I'm afraid there is a chance of that happening for him

| The funny thing is this thread was an argument waiting to happen.... it plainly asked for an overrated player which means to answer the question you would have to diss one of our players.... Sickem you stated your opinion good job |

| underated: Im going with a tie here. Brent Vinson made a position change early to mid season and I think he will be a shut down corner for the Vols. He was solid as the year went on. I wouldnt say this guy is really underated but we never hear his name mentioned is Dennis Rogan. I think he will be a solid corner for the Vols and not to mention his return game on punts. I think this year he can be a game changer. Hopefully we will see him on the ballot for Pontiac Game Changing Performances.
overated: I don't think we have one player besides Eric Berry that gets a ton of hype, but he deserves the hype because of what he did last season as a freshman. So I dont think we really have one player that is overated.
most important player: By far is Chad Cunningham for the first 5 games. He has to help us change field position, and I think if he averages 38 yards or better we might be ok. There are just too many big important games early in the season w/o Colquitt who can change field postion from almost anywhere. Thats why I think he may determine early on what kind of season we have. |
