I wish him the best but that type of thinking usually leads to a bust. Let's hope he meets expectations.

He had Peyton and Eli Manning. I would give Olivia manning more credit than I would Cutcliffe.

If you're talking about me than you're wrong, as usual. I don't think I ever said Coleman was ahead of Stephens. I think they will be battling for the number 2 spot into the season.

Interesting, indeed...

Just think, if Cutty would have stayed, we would have been force fed Coleman and he would have probably been given every opportunity to become the next Peyton. Now that a fresh set of eyes has come on campus as the OC with no biases, you see that Coleman is battling for the second string position.

Wow. It is interesting how quickly Crompton went from bust to indispensible in some folks' eyes.

I have no idea if you are from Chat, but I know Coleman is... and it seems like every poster from that city is on this guys jock for whatever reason.

Kind of like when we signed Crompton and everyone was on his jock even if they weren't from his hometown? He hadn't played yet either.

It seems like there is some sort of psychology where some people are always drawn to the nonstarter over the starter, no matter who that is.

It's one of the truths of football. The least popular guy always ends up being the Offensive Coordinator and the most popular guy is the backup QB.
