Posting negative BS is no more objective than posting positive BS. Both are BS. That's objective. |

Most anti-Fulmer sentiment on this site is based on statistics, while positive sentiment is posted along with words like "hope" and "faith." I'm not saying that I want Fulmer fired as we speak, just pointing out the falicy of your statement.

| I like them all, because they are on the greatest show know to man and do a great job at it! Think of it this way...if you were on that show do you think you could be near as unbiased as all of them are???

| I agree with you Duckman as far as I am concerned Fowler is the scum of the earth for what he said about UT fans. I also remember the campaign ESPN launched to tout Woodson for the Heisman when Peyton deserved it hands down. Fowler even lied about his ballot for the heisman and said he actually voted for Peyton when he came to Knoxville to speak. No wonder fans boycotted Game Day after being called "trailer trash". |

| I watched that yesterday. I was a little upset that he said that about UT after what he said at the UF spring game. He just said that we wont be a factor at all. That was it... Now he goes on sports center and pulls some BS out of nowhere about UTs and says we will be a contender in the east. It doesnt make any sense at all. I feel like he had nothing to talk about and he just made up a story and UT was lucky enough to get a bit of time on ESPN. I dont think ESPN hates UT. We get pleny of love from ESPN. That doesnt mean I think their reporters are very bright/ biased at times, but we get pleny of love. |

That was great. | My wife heard him on TV (she was in the other room) and thought it was Neil Goldman from Family Guy. |

Both sides parse the data either based on emotional bias or because of what they sincerely think is important. Someone who thinks the team is on the right track will point to past successes and improvement over the past two years. Someone who thinks the team is on the wrong track will point to last year's losses to Bama and UF, 2005, or the drought of championships.
The same set of data that says that CPF hasn't won the SEC in 9 years says he's won the East 4 out of the last 7 years. The same data that says he has a losing record against Richt and Spurrier says that he's dominated both recently.
Both sides have "faith" in something based on which direction they think the facts are pointing. |

They're just as much sensationalists as any other news outlet is, just they're focused on sports. They don't report what's right all the time, they report what will garner viewers. It's just the way it is. |
