In other words, at this snapshot in time, you are theoretically right that UT and Florida begin next year 0-0.
As to your comment about Florida being in for a surprise this year, please elaborate. Are you referring to just the UT game, or in general?
If the former, please advise why anyone in their right mind would, ahead of the coming game, think that Florida is taking a step back and UT one forward, especially one so large so as to erase the deficit last year (not just in terms of score, but overall performance).
If the latter, please explain the factual basis for thinking that Florida is going to have a bad year. Are you privy to some sort of news on Harvins foot procedure recovery? Have you inside knowlegdeon a running back with a bad test score? Something tangible?
Or is this just wishful thinking by a diehard UT fan who cannot stand the fact that, in all probability (note: probability, not certainty) Florida will emerge victorious from Neyland this year? | How is your Defense looking?

Sometimes I don't know why I bother using reason and logic with numbskulls like that guy. At least fellows like the two of you can fight back. That other poor guy is doomed and really not by me. The irony is that its the Volsfans on here who jump on the rah-rahs, I suppose to maintain the integrity of the thinking by the rest of the board. I know that when some idiot Gator fan comes on here and makes a fool out of himself by just posting some antagonizing nonsense, I disown him. I suppose that in the end you guys do the same thing with your own, when its deserved.

| You give me 5 minutes to respond and if I don't I'm a "numbskull". I when have I rahrahed? I'm just stating my opinion which is just as rational and as logical as your's and the negavols.
Oh yes mighty lawgator you and your team are so wonderful and perfect and you are so smart and post with such intellect that I'm probably missing out on the true insight others derive from your posts. Does that make you feel more at home?
How did that SECCG turn out for you guys last year? |

| Once again Florida and Georgia will be very good football teams but both have holes and questions. UT as I stated in another post has me not knowing what to think. I don’t know how anyone can be either optimistic or a downer. Until we see the product it is tough to know for sure. I mean we know some about our defense but the Offense is another story. We know the players but how will they be used? You cant really look at what Clausen did at his former job because he never had the talent or resources he will have now. Small schools do things because of what they have on hand. i.e. look at Urban Crier at the Turds. He doesn’t run the same offense he ran at the Utes. Similar in style but he has so many more weapons now. So it is really up in the air a lot.

How did that SECCG turn out for you guys last year? | TT you should have just said something akin to "y'all beat the crap out of us last year but how did you do in the SECCG" and left the rest out.
The bold part almost made me puke.

| Of course it's up in the air, that's the entire point. But it can be viewed from both sides, either with optimism or negativity. I personally don't see what being negative all the time achieves.
Everyone knows how hard it is to win the SEC and the NC. As smart as some of the posters on here think they are with their analytical approach to predicting the upcoming season nobody will get it right, not even the experts. That is why they play the game! But according to LG his gaytors have already won so how dare us have faith in our team. I'm an idiot and numbskull for thinking the Vols have a chance because a gaytor says so? Please |

Please | I just dont see how anyone can have much of a feel for our offense yet. Im usually an optimistic person but mostly a realist and get called a Fulmerite mostly with a few negavols sprinkled here and there. You just need to learn how to zing the turds whenthey come in and smack. Use facts and dont get emotional and you can run them off faster and its more fun.

As to part I, if you do not see that you are a rah-rah fan, then I am certain I cannot convince you of it.
As to part II, I was able to follow the sarcasm up through the last sentence: "Does that make you feel more at home?" But at that point the non sequitor blew my mind, causing me to seriously consider taking up smoking, or perhaps heroin. To match you, I will retort this way: Does banana trump airplane glue but not bow ties?
As to part III, you won the SECE this past year and that earned you a spot in the Outback Bowl, to be followed this year almost certainly with something no better. I'll take the Gators' having won it all just the year before and with a reasonable shot to get back to the BCS this year. I mean, if you honestly believe that UT is overall in a better spot for the last decade than is Florida, then I might as well be debating my dead grandmother about it.
At least she knows when to stay quiet.*
*And if alive would have smiled at my invocation of her sparkling wit and intellect.

| This is your home right? I mean you don't post on a Gator board do you?
I don't care what you think about your team so why do you care what I think about mine?
And there wasn't any reason to bring your dead grandma into it. |

| They have six defensive starters in most of the All-SEC first through fourth team lists? The Vols have three. |
