Maybe they a) realize people make mistakes (if you even want to call it that) or b) don't see marijuana as a major issue. But that is a debate for another thread.

You're missing my entire point. Go find where I said he shouldn't have been punished and that it wasn't stupid. You won't find it.

However, he had a serious heart condition and DID have to fight through physical, and mostly mental, hurdles. No matter what he does the rest of his life, the above sentence is true.
