We might be a 3 headed inside beast next year, especially if Chism keeps improving. And heck, Crews is a talented player too.

Williams was going after rebounds today like Rosie ODonnell going after the ice cream man

Williams needs to move his feet quicker. He requires too much help on defense which causes problems for the Vols on dribble-drive penetretion. He also needs to develop better hands to catch the pass inside and to hold on to more rebounds.

Like you said, he did a nice job of pulling down some rebounds today.

Maybe that 1st half benching vs American got his attention...definitely need more production from him now and going forward if he wants to see some more floor time

Just posted this in another thread:

I have been critical of him in the past...(and please no posts about this being his first year...everyone knows that)
But he played like a man on the inside today...very good to see.

I think he gets a start at center next year. Chism will probably move to the 4. We will be big next year.

Speaking as someone who has lost a fair amount of weight, it doesn't come automatically. He needs to do some drills that make him pick 'em up and put 'em down. You just become used to moving slower, even when the weight is gone.

Didn't you mean like Brian Williams going after the ice cream man?

That would be great. Can you imagine a lineup with Ramar at PG, JP at the 2, Tyler at the 3, and then Wayne and Brian down low with Duke Crews off the bench for quality minutes? Four of the starting five would be 6-7 or taller!

Yeah, we would be the WORST perimeter shooting team in the league.

Ramar, maybe. Tyler, at times. But in general, just pack it in with a 2-3 zone and make us shoot jumpers. We would get killed.

He'll be our starting 3 point threat next year. Renaldo coming off the bench will play sf/g and can shoot the 3 ball.

West can stroke it too although he will be the backup point with Ramar.

Im interested in the rotation next year down low. We are going to add Jurick and Woolridge (sp on both)

Renaldo and JP will back up Tyler at the 3. We're going to be ridiculously big next year.

Hopefully Daniel West can come in and make the PG spot competitive. Either he's good enough to take the starting position, or good enough to make Ramar step up his game.

Jurick coming in will help Chism the most. Williams will start at center and Chism can use his athleticism on PF rather than going up against taller (and bigger) centers.

Pearl will have lots of options in terms of a smaller quicker team with Chism, T. Smith, JP, Tatum and Ramar.

Yeah that would be our small team. Scary if Tatum can hit from 3.
