| Patterson Outside Tennessee and a couple of other teams I dont watch to much basketball but I think there is something that i missed. Has the 3 second lane violation rule been dismissed or are the refs just not calling it anymore. There was many times that Patterson would stand down there and camp out for 5,6,7 seconds and the back ref wasnt even counting. Well I hate to see the vols lose but its much better to see them lose now than 2 months from now. Maybe they can use this game as motivation like they did when they lost to Texas.
Go VOls

| Yes it is still a "rule" but it is rarely enforced. I wish they would just take it out of the rule book if they will never call it... |

| No i am not saying that the refs cost us the game at all but i was just wondering about the rule. We got outplayed and we cant make excuses we just got out played and out executed.

| The refs may not have been the number one reason but they helped. Patterson was camped out down there and he clearly got number five and they gave it to harris. He should have fouled out with about 2:30 to go. I thought i saw quite a few times they could have called over the back also and didn't. But i guess we can't expect to get those calls in rupp. |

| Refs were no factor, UK played with more passion. This was a must win for them and they played like their season was on the line. |

| refs didn't lose it, but Patterson no doubt had number 5 twice. Once they changed it to Stephenson and the other mauling of Ramar just got overlooked. I bet ramar noticed. |

I hope he's one and done. He'll be a lottery pick. |

| Our weakness is exposed again. Poor inside game and free throw shooting. How many times has Chism, Williams, Childress, JP been close to the basket and unable to finish? Also when those guys are close in and draw the foul they hit the free throws at less than 50 percent. Early in the season, I thought Childress could be a contributor and give us some minutes. The past few games, he has looked lost ( poor passes, badly mised shots and no rebounding presence). For this team to make a good run in the tournament, they will have to greatly improve in these areas.
Patterson was a beast. We had no answer. |
