Hey at least we were there. This team could have tanked the rest of the season after bama but they fought hard and just fell short of a SEC title. I know that we as Tennessee fans demand more but this team will be better next year.

kudos for not quitting after getting killed is just pathetic. compliment the improvement, or something, but let's get over this thing where we've got heart because we didn't quit. the weakest portion of our schedule came late and we won the games we should have won (albeit in a very unspectacular manner)

Bottom line. EVERYONE expected too much of this team. Our Year is next year.

so we should lower our expectations to make room for our pathetic play.

I could never have lowered my expectations enough to be prepared for the pitiful displays I saw against Cal, UF and AL.

Tonight, we were the aggressor and hit some people hard. I can live with some unfortunate and even bad plays leading to the L.

I agree. You know Tennessee football has declined when us as fans consider bearly beating USCjr, Vandy and UK a good season.

Heck, we made the title game by God's grace, and then our Senior QB choked away the championship.

Good season Vols! Peach Bowl here we come.....AGAIN!
