Freshmen I like the fact that we are finally getting some of our freshmen on the field. I was glad to see Vinson get an interception, I think this will help build some confidence for him. Does anyone know if Gerald Jones will be ready to play at Georgia? Is he practicing at all? I would love to see this kid get on the field soon. What is everyone else's thoughts on the new secondary?

IF and that is a big if he plays this season it will be after UGA, according to everything I've heard. Unless something positive happens with his hammy, he will get redshirted. |

It's cool. I can't wait to see him on the field next year though. He's already missed 4 games and won't play until probably Alabama anyways, he might as well go ahead and redshirt.

I say play him if he can come back in the next 3 games. Redshirt seniors that are stars are becoming obsolete with players leaving early. Let him get experience so he can be ready to start next year. Plus, he will add a new dimension to the offense now.

i dont think Jones should redshirt because we need him this season, if we had mulitiple receivers making plays then i could see y he would redshirt but right now we only have one consistent receiver

we will see, according to radio reports, jones is having problems advancing in the no huddle offense. i know he has been injured, it's the biggest lingering story we have in Volville. i just don't see him climbing up the depth this season starting so late and picking up the offense....practicing with the first team, doesn't make him a gametime success though. i'm open-minded about him, it is just what i have heard. if there is anyone i would like to see on the grass is jones and moore....more, it's me! i'm looking forward to be proved wrong.
