georgia...yes
bamma...we haven't seen them enough to really now how good they are...but they look decent. going to be a very tough task on the road...again.

Georgia's not that good. Bama almost lost to an average Arkansas team. UT should beat both by 10.

Not sure why everyone is so scared of Bama. They looked middle of the road against woeful Vandy who didn't even put up much of a fight.

Georgia's QB Stafford looks far and away better than J.P. Wilson.

But I honestly think UT is better than both. We've lost to two extremely talented football teams in Cal and Florida. Both of those programs have two of the hottest coaches out there and I wouldn't be surprised to see Cal play Florida for the National Championship in all honesty.

So I just don't see anybody else that scares me a whole lot. Only because Spurrier is coaching S.C. do they make me cringe. Spurrier owns Fulmer in the psyche department so if UT beats 'em it'll be on talent alone.

If the schedule had been turned around and we played Cal and Florida late in the season do you guys think that if UT had started out 4-0 against the likes of Southern Miss, Bama, Georgia, and Arkansas St. that you'd all be sitting here saying we were going to lose big to Cal and Florida?

Like I've been saying....Fulmer will win just enough games to keep his job...go to a decent bowl, get beat, and then do it all over again next year unless they get talent that can overcome Fulmer's real or perceived mediocre coaching style.

I think Stafford is better . . . but if we're going on "looks", the last time I saw Stafford against a quality opponent he was going 19-45 in a loss to South Carolina while Wilson who led his team to a victory over Arkansas.

Boy it's sure hard to argue against these numbers you've posted. I too think he's been a mediocre coach at best and that's being kind.

I think he's a good fella and definitely wants Tennesse to win like the rest of us and I hate to see anybody get the cold hard ax but he's getting paid millions of dollars to get it done and he's not gotten it done.

I would, however, in fairness like to see someone post the positives for him and the things that he has accompished as well as how other coaches have also faired, but boy oh boy...the stats you show sure do speak volumes. Facts are facts. Good stuff.

We have a week off before the Georgia game.........that's what worries me. Give this coaching staff an extra week and we're surely doomed!:banghead2:

I say we will be lucky to beat georgia and no way we beat bama.If you cant tackle your not going to win.And the way bama's running game has looked there is no way we will stop it.

BAMA's offense looks fairly well balanced, if unspectacular.

I'm also worried about Saban's ability to scheme up an offense that's running on smoke and mirrors like ours.

I've been saying for 6 months we'd lose to Alabama, and that was when I thought we'd finish 10-2. We have a chance in every game, but we won't exit T-Town with a W. It's the toughest game remaining.
