If you are big and fast, or if you just think you can get to the QB every once in a while, tryouts will be held tomorrow morning at 10am. If you are interested just show up at Krystal on the strip.

How does a UT team wake up one morning and have no defensive ends to speak of?

If we do not have major scheme changes in the next few years, we are in deep doo doo. We do not have the talent to line up and beat people without a few wrinkles.

We also have no depth at DE now if X-Man is gone for the season.

Schemes??? WHat schemes??? Lay the cal loss squarely at the feet of John Chavis and whatever scheme he didnt have for cal.

Not trying to make excuses for phil here.But guys your right we are not going to outtalent alot of teams anymore.So guess what the coaching has to get better.That isn't happening obviously.Phil has to recruit against good coaches in about every state around us for talent.It used to not be that way.In short phil has lost his edge on getting guys to just come to tennessee because there isn't anywhere better.Now there are plenty of places around here to play on a big stage.

how many blitz did we attempt all day??? wat happ to the hard hittin vols? they cant even tackle!!

you can't really blitz when the secondary is this bad.

Yea I didn't expect a lot of blitzes, and our best defences don't blitz a lot b/c they get pressure from the D-line.

What would blitzing have mattered? they would have just missed tackles in a different spots on the field.

But why is the secondary so bad? I know we lost some people, but I also know that we supposedly had great recruiting classes full of talent. Why are they not ready?
