Erik Ainge has sore pinky

Apparently this is breaking news. Fulmer is giving Ainge a couple of days off and even went on to say that he expected him to play but if not, Crompton would be ready to go.

Will Erik ever escape injury issues? If we are 28 to 1 to win the BCS, then Ainge should be 100 to 1 to start every game.

If Crompton plays, I just really want him to knock out Syd'quan Thompson.

Yeah I think a jammed pinky is not really an issue. He will sit out of practice and be fine. I think they want to make sure he is healthy come game day. But, I am sure everyone is about to freak out anyway.

hope he recovers 100% by the game. Anyone know if it's his throwing hand?

Fulmer made sure to say he hoped Ainge would play Saturday. That's bad news. I'm really worried. Seriously.

If it weren't his throwing hand, it wouldn't matter.

Even if Ainge (praying he can, and I think he will) can't play, I have plenty of faith in Crompton.
