VN Brothers and Sisters Unite!

This season, I suggest that all of us make an effort to get together with a VN member in your area and catch a game together where possible. I live in Richmond, VA, and I would delight in hookin' up with a VN member in this neck-O-the-Woods (where there ain't a lotta Vols) to catch a game at some point this season! My place, your place, the sports bar...I don't care! I'd just like to get to know a few of you and report back to VN about the outing! Anyone in my rough vicinity, wanna get together and root on the Big Orange this year? Friends, Vols, Countrymen, lend me your shakers! I'll use this thread to report back about any gametime get-togethers, and please, any ya'll do the same, ya hear? !!

I know I'm a newbie.... but it would be cool if Freak took up a collection and we had a big party of everyone able to come for one of UT's home games. Maybe at the engineering schools parking lot or something?

A big group of UT alumni get together for most games here in Alpharetta:

Here's part of an e-mail I received for a get together this weekend:
"Looking forward to seeing you this Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. Jeffreys Sports Bar & Grill is preparing a wonderful free buffet for us, we have Jeff doing the UT trivia, many prizes, I'll be showing a UT football DVD and ...we have Tee Martin joining us."

I won't be there (out of town) but if you want to hang out with some UT fanatics stuck in GA, it's the place to be....Friends and family are welcome.

Score, I had wondered where you guys were. When I lived here awhile back the fan club got together at Famous in the Emory area but I went for the Georgia game last year and they said it was moved to Alpharetta somewhere. Famous still has a lot of TN fans btw who go but you have to deal with dog and gators from the school. Well, that was kind of fun considering what happenned in the Georgia game last year. Lot of whining pups.
