Speaking of Larry Munson, he'll be hanging up his hobnailed boots pretty soon:

Personally, I hope he sticks around to call the UT-UGA game in Athens in 2008, so we can shove those boots somewhere special for his going away present.

He's only calling UGA home games this season.

I didn't mention the coaches.

I praise accomplishment. Achieve, and I give you credit. Fail, and I call you what you are. It's that simple.

I like Kesling. He's does his job well, though I don't think he's one of those legendary personalities that leaves an indelible mark on his fan base.

I think John Wilkerson would be a nice voice to have calling Tennessee's games.

so if john were offered a hefty salary broadcasting, you think he would take it, or was that already offered (or not offered) and he just thought it was "time" to retire. if I heard he was getting paid millions a year, I would not shake my head in disgust, like I do hearing other folks (coaches, ect) salaries.

Kesling is ok, nothing great.

I do miss John calling the games but I really do like Mike Keith calling the Titans games. It is almost a ritual that I listen to him on my way home to Memphis from Vols home games on Sunday.

I personally dont think Kesling is that bad, I like him for the most part. He's not great but he is above average. I think people just compare to John Ward, and thats something that you just cant do. Bur for him, he's alright. I think Ron Franklin applied for the job and he's great. I like Tim Priest as color. I like Kesling better in basketball. I think Bert Bertlekamp is the best color guy in basketball, "Money". Him and Tim compliment him well in coloring, and Jeff Francis does good on the sideline. All of the pregame, postgame, and coaches shows are really good.

Kessling Is Terrible!
He Is Blind And Always Screws Up The Down And Distance.
Mike Keith Is Not The The Answer, He Is The Most Arrogant Play By Play Guy With Little Man Syndrome I've Ever Heard.
