What time does it get started today and who is going to keep us updated?

I knew writing down all the Georgia lottery # winners would come in handy one day!

Guru,
You going so you can give us a report of how fit the guys look and who is rehabbing besides Karl?

I can tell ya'll one thing, the boys have been working really hard this offseason. Here are my breakout performers:
Rico McCoy
Jarrod Parrish
Quintin Hancock
I believe Eric Young will do a fine job at left tackle.
Brent Vinson will play early and often, he is a future All-American

The players I am worried about:
Chris Scott
Josh Briscoe
Lucas Taylor
Antoino Reynolds (still waiting for him to reach potential)

What in particular makes you worried about that group?

I had high hopes for Scott?

I think everyone had high hopes for Scott, and there is still hope left cause he is only a Soph., but the coaches were hoping he would replace Sears, but it looks like EY will cause Scott's inconstistency. Taylor fumbles a lot and Briscoe is still too skinny. Many people think AR can be a great end, we just need to see it.

I also thought Scott would come to the forefront this season, he seems to have great potential. We need him to finally realize that potential. We need Rico to step up...I hear about him all the time in practice, but let's see it in a game.

A player who hasn't stepped on the field for a D-1 game is a future All American? Give me a break. It's like you take the Hubbs and Low updates and blow them out of proportion.

I understand your sentiment, but from what I understand you can legitimately say that Eric Berry has AA potential

I would say every school like Tennessee signs 4-5 guys a year who have AA potential. There are no less than 40 true freshman who have AA potential every year.

Is there an NCAA rule on when it can start? I remember seeing a thread on here earlier about one of the UT coaches involved in a scrimmage the other day. Want to know if UT needs to self-report.

Stop listening to people who don't know what they are talking about. Simple.

there is nothing worse than unrealized potential, a concept I've become very familar with since Fulmer's been at the helm. I heard Cowher ripping on FSU the other day and he might as well have been talking about UT. He said, "FSU is where great highschool offensive players go to die. They then go the the NFL and are immediatly better." Im sure he was speaking to the Jeff Bowden tenure and not Jimbo since we really dont know what he can do there yet. Sure reminded me of what has happened on the Hill.

the guy that immediately comes to mind is WR Eric Parker. I was watchin a chargers game last season. and at the beginning of the game when the player videos come up and they say their name and college they attended, Parker said his high school. :hmm:

Well Tennessee has the 3rd most players of any school in the NFL, so a few are bound to be upset right?

Looks like Karl went through workouts with the team today per govolsxtra.com. Granted these workouts were in shorts & helmet but glad he is out there with the team.
