The weekly VolNation Internet Radio Show will be kicking off hopefully next week. I will be posting all the pertinent information here.

You will be able to listen live to the show, join an online chat while the show airs, and even call in. We will be taking questions/comments from the chat room during the show. You will also be able to listen to a rebroadcast at any time during the week.

Calling in can be done in one of two ways. There will be a list of phone numbers throughout the country that you can call into. There is not a local number in every market (including Knoxville

) so it may be a long distance call. However, I think most have free long distance on their mobile phones or a cheap $.04 per minute plan on their home phone. You can also use googletalk to call into the show on your computer assuming you have a headset and microphone. We may work on some other ways of calling in if the need arises.

The show will be done weekly and we are thinking of setting the time at 9pm eastern. That should allow local callers to use their "free nights" to call long distance from their mobile phone. That also will allow people in other time zones a chance to call in after work. We have not set a day at this point.

I think this will be a great way for VolNation members to interact on a different platform.

I'm always open to suggestions if you have any and I look forward to hearing from you all on the show.
