I've been meaning to ask you . . . Has anyone found that contract with Steve Spurrier's name on it yet?

Okay, here's the truth. Steve Spurrier did sign the contract with us to be our new coach. But 1 week later we received word that Nick Saban wanted the job, so we tore up Stevie's contract and offered Rich Rodriguez the job for half of what he was making at WV. It was a genius smokescreen knowing that he would turn it down, therefore stalling for time until Nick finished the season with the Dolphins. But the INK WAS DRY on Spurrier's contract. I'm sorry that I couldn't tell you guys while all of this was going on but I couldn't risk it. But in the end it worked out well.

i really doubt that bama will always have a winning record against us. i'm sure sooner or later we will take it, and then give it back.
