| The Return of the VN NCAA Pool??? No mention has been made of the return of the legendary VN Tourney pool. I assume we will reprise last years successful event?
I plan on winning this year. Just so you'll know... |

| I dunno, I've been reading and studying hatvol's posts concerning many teams. I feel with this knowledge, I will be tough to beat.

| Darren Epps from Chattaboogie's own tfp said this this morning. I laughed. So true... Quote:
I’ve got bad news for you.
You know the person in your office who thinks the Big Dance is a reference to a prom, likes UCLA (pronounced uck-la ) because of the baby blue uniforms and picks Georgetown because a friend went to law school there? You know, the person who wins the NCAA tournament office pool every year?
He or she is definitely going to win this year.
If you weren’t playing for entertainment purposes only, and we know you’re not because you’re a law-abiding citizen, you should just give your coworker the money now. Spare yourself the embarrassment later.
Attempting to sort through potential NCAA tournament teams is like trying to find yourself in a hall of mirrors. Everyone looks exactly the same.

| I hate tourney pools...I have decided that knowledge is inherently a disadvantage in such a game as that... |

| I wonder if you could do one where the bracket gets reset after every weekend, i.e. everyone does entries for the first and second round, and then gets their points. Then, everyone picks a new bracket from the remaining teams, and collects additional points for Sweet 16 and Elite Eight games. Do the same thing for the Final Four. Make the points go up as the new brakcets are reorganized and new picks made and then combine the points.
Probably too tough to do on here, or at least not worth the hassle of everyone carrying over points and then matching that up to a re-pick.
Just an idea, though. That way, if the team you have winning it all loses in Round Two, you aren't out of it from the getgo. And before you kind folks assume that I mean that I will be picking Florida and am going to be p.o.'d when they lose to Princeton, you are mistaken as 1) right now I'm not picking Florida and 2) the same might be said of those who pick UT. |

| I've been in pools that were reset after each round. Apparently we had an employee that had nothing else better to do that keep up with all that. I've also found that making picks after each round just makes you look exponentially more inept... |
