No doubt there is not alot going on in Big Orange Country right now. I guess we are going to have to find some other things to talk about around here.

Yeah I'm looking forward to the annual fake cordial handshake between Pat and Gino. Win or lose it always looks like Pat wants to slap that greasy !!

Well, depending on how the BasketVols react to real competition, they might be interesting to watch. I'm looking forward to the SEC season, for sure.

I think the Lady Vols will be fun to watch this year. The bad thing about them is that they are so good, most of their games are boring blowouts. There are only a handful of games that are usually very interesting. Although things could be different this year. They have already played in 2-3 overtime games.

As for the men, I always support them but I don't have a lot of confidence in them right now. I think the SEC will be really tough for this team. Florida and Kentucky are both losses (twice). It will really come down to how good the rest of the SEC is. I am predicting an optimistic 8-8 in the conference and 7-9 is probably more realistic. I hope they prove me wrong.

I feel like the men's b-ball team owes me something. I had to sit on the front row of the South Carolina student section in the Carolina Center last February when they got waxed by 20+ points. Talk about a fan's worst case scenario! The front row of the opposing student section feels like communist China when you're wearing orange and the Vols are down by 26.

I had a similar feeling in Auburn this year.
