While Cal did go into Tennessee and lose, they kept it respectable, 35-18.

Seriously? This is your ammo? I fart better articles than that in the shower. It's clearly a feel-good piece for the west coast "fans" that have little fball knowledge but a huge inferiority complex. Please provide a link so I can see what rag that come from.

No, the only reason why they were there is because they won a rivalry game against Texas, who in turn proved to be merely mediocre by almost throwing away the Iowa game.

Yes you were. Great job to finish out the season. You deserved it. And yes we do have bragging rights on kicking your butt until opening game. Live with it.

SEC finished with six teams in top 25 poll of which Gators #1. Pac10 had three. SEC matched your three number in the rankings in the top ten.

Did your best player go down for 2 weeks? Watch this:

Florida > USC
LSU > Tennessee
Arkansas > Texas A&M
Cal > Oregon State
Georgia > UCLA
Penn State > Oregon
S. Carolina > Arizona State
Kentucky > Washington State
Alabama > Arizona
Vanderbilt < Minnesota
Marshall < Washington
Air Force > Stanford
Memphis > Portland State

UGA finished better than us after we beat them by 18 in Athens. Arkansas finished worse than you even though they were in the SEC championship game. Notre Dame finished worse than you and were in a BCS bowl. Wake finished worse than you and they lost in a BCS bowl.
These rankings are obviously flawed.
