| Just checking in to see if this thread is really still alive.
Diagnosis result: Holy crap.
Allow me to go "clone" style here:
"This has gone on way too long."
Signed, Brett Favre's career, Roger Clemens' off-season, those two hockey players who fought for a minute and a half, Chuck Norris jokes, U2 albums, George Bush's presidency, Rocky movies, CPF threads, the last Lord Of The Rings movie, phone calls with aunt Debbie, Courtney Love's career, ESPN2's Cold Pizza, televised baseball games, the idea that the Big East is a good football conference, The Topic That Will Never Die, the Brazillian soccer announcer who yells "goal", Al Davis' ineptitude, Paris Hilton's fame, CBS's Survivor and traffic jams.

No one would be happier than me to see the thread closed. I think i've repeated myself 50 times. |

I still do not get how someone comes on the board after their team was thrashed and some how some way figures their team is the favorite heading into next year's game.

It's a new season. Someone who won 10 games in 06, wont even have a winning record. Some team that went 5-7 will win 10 games. Am I 100% positive that Cal will beat UT? Of course not. Doesn't mean I'm not right. Those that think that ONE GAME tells you all you need to know about two programs clearly haven't watched much college football. |

I should have gone to Cal and learned me some schooling.
So Tennessee with have a catastrophic drop in talent?
Nice!

So the only possible explanation for Cal getting blown out by Tenn is that Tenn has massively superior talent to Cal? Even if the recruiting rankings say otherwise? Or the polls? Your team is the only one allowed to underachieve every once in a while I suppose. . . |
