I want to start this by saying this is rumor. Hubbs nor Scout have picked this up. I have heard this from a fairly reliable source, so I thought I would bring it to the board.. Please understand that I do not intend to mislead or stir things up, but I am hearing this and wanted to pass it along.

The buzz is that Coker is not attending class and that he is very disgruntled with the coaching staff. Just keep this on your radar. It may turn out to be nothing,

I assume he is disgruntled about the half game suspension for the bowl game because of his grades?

He sounds like a good candidate to leave early and go to the NFL.

You're right, no need to actually have expectations for these guys. He knew the consequences before he made the mistake.

If anything you should be "disgruntled" at Coker for not fulfilling his obligations to his school and team.

naw im disgruntled at fulmer. if fulmer could run a 4.3 40 i would be disgruntled at coker. im just saying that when we finally let him in the game he scores our only touchdown. sure the rest of the team didn't show up, but a couple of more big plays that hes more of capable of making and we win. however, i also understand about grades and stuff...its just that that stuff gets thrown out the window when we aren't winning (in my world at least)

Disgruntled at Fulmer for holding his players to a standard higher than "slacker"? If I were a mod, I'd ban you for this post.

If he's disgruntled he didn't play more as a true freshmen I think he has a pretty good case. In hindsight, that was a mistake.

If he's disgruntled that he has to make the grade, thats another can of worms.

In either case, if he's not going to class, its a matter of time before he flunks out. This is very bad news.

While I would hate to see him go we have enough good running backs to help fill his void should he leave...Lennon Creer is going to be a stud:rock:

If Coker left, I would probably cry.. He is ready for a breakout year... but if he does leave, Fulmer would then have a reason to start Foster the rest of next season..:frown:
