What is the story?

I saw something where the University President said the grades were to borderline and it might make UT look bad if they let him play....his last game as a Senior ( I added this last part).

I thought I remembered CPF saying something publicly about BS making a "D" but then CPF went on to essentially say that the problem should be fixed in time for the bowl game. How do you fix a problem with a "D" without changing the grade? At the time, I thought it sounded fishy and maybe the school ultimately realized that. Pure speculation on my part, but seems to make sense.

in order to maintain eligibility you have to pass 6 hours that count toward your major. unfortunately at tennessee D's dont count toward you major.
