My theory is that he doesn't have that grasp at least yet, because neither Cut or Fulmer have said anything to make us believe that he can. I even recall reading somewhere that TT doesn't sit it on all the meetings discussing game plans. I'm not saying TT won't make a great OC one day, just that's he doesn't appear ready now. With a program such as UT, I wouldn't want to make that kind of gamble. Of course, i'm a mere fan, i'm not a HC or AD |

| the Cut to NC State idea may have some merit
the question would be, do you turn the offense over to someone completely untested as a coordinator like TT or do you go a coach that has a proven track record (ie Walt Harris, or an OC from a lower tier school)? | |

| At this point the Vols just need to start passing the collection plate to the $$$ people and give Cut a seven-figure deal through 2010 (I think 2010 is when Fulmer's contract expires). | |
