| Urban says ... At end of Florida game, interview guy asked UM a few questions and said as they parted, "So now you have a big game next week." Meyer stopped, came back to the microphone, looked dead at the guy, and said "It's officially Tennessee Week."
Gators looked great in all facets. No RB has emerged, but combination of two traditional tailbacks plus using wide receivers to run reverses and sweeps will keep you on your toes. Defense was outstanding. O-line came together big time. Receivers dropped a few balls. Leak again completing 70 % or better. Tebow adds a dimension to the team that is hard to describe but just seems to be very inspiring to the offense.
I'd say Florida looks like it got a whole lot better between Weeks One and Two and that they are excited to play UT to get a gauge on where they stand. |

| Tennessee looked excellent on offense, and were really struggling with the triple option/flexbone.
However, don't let your UF friends look at 280 rushing yards allowed and think UF can run on UT.
I see a FG differential in this game.

I see a FG differential in this game. | Florida doesn't "run" the way you think. A lot of receivers in motion in backfield get direct handoffs and go streaking to the corner. Sometimes they cut up field, sometimes they wait for a block and run the sideline. It is very effective, at least so far. |

I doubt it. It ws UCF and while UCF has 4-5 good athletes on each side of the ball, the UF players know they are no Tennessee. Trust me, Gator players expecting much tougher next weekend. |

| Let me remind you that UF was playing college football titan UCF while Vols were playing a team with a traditionally sound running game in AF. I have no doubt that Mr. Meyer will take good notes, but the Vols may have had a slight case of looking to the next game as well |

Noooooo, you won't. Florida is not running a spread option. Have you not been paying any attention at all? Florida is lining up with 3 WR and a back or four WR. I've seen us run, in two games, like maybe 4 option plays.
What we do is have one of the receivers come in motino and QB takes snap. Sometimes he hands off to WR streaking by, sometimes QB fakes it and throws.
Florida is not running the spread option. |

Tougher? I doubt it, but UCF isn't a slouch these days.

But at any rate, don't try to rationalize the close call tonight. You won, no one will care after next Saturday if you beat UF because you would be 3-0 and 1-0 in conference. You lose, then the head scratching about almost losing to a pretty weak AF team can begin. Let's face it, AF has no where near your talent. If they hung in there, it was because your coaches did not do their jobs to have the talent disparity play out on the field. |

| I think Meyer will undoubtedly have more pressure on him this year compared to last year.Last year I don't think he realized just how important winning against UT was, as opposed to coach Fulmer feeling more pressure in last year's game. |

Both schools have 4-5 kids on each side fo the ball that could compete at a top tier program, but after that the talent level falls off. That's why they are good to warm up on for teams like UT, where the talent is top notch all the way around. |
