| I was surprised that he was the only in-state guy to make the list. I kind of thought this was going to be considered an "up" year for TN HS football prospects. http://rivals100.rivals.com/viewrank.asp?S...007&ra_key=1475
"he" meaning Chris Donald |

| It's also amazing that Texas has 9 of these kids as early commitments. I imagine they will snag a couple more before it's all said and done. I don't recall anyone getting that kind of a draw from winning one NC.
Anyone see a name on there that might go UT other than Donald? |

| While we're on the subject, anyone think Donald will be this year's Turner/Warren? |

| Texas has the pleasure of recruiting from the one of the best if not the best talent pools in the nation so it's not really a surprise. Texas has been pulling in top 5 recruiting classes for the last 4 years.
And Chris Donald=vol |

| I'm just not so sure about Donald. In a year when the "in" thing seems to be to commit early you'd think he'd already have done so if he really wanted to be a Vol. ND has long been the one team on his list that has yet to offer him. I suspect that is where he will head if/when offered. |

| He is committing early. He has said he will commit before the fall. ND will not land him. He is only visiting to make sure he is a Vol which he will be. Turner was never a fan and Warren's dream was to be a Seminole. Big difference between those 2 and a kid that has always been orange and white. Golden Tate will be this year's Turner and Rae Sykes will be this year's Brandon Warren. |

| It just makes me edgy that so many of these guys are committing early. And then you get the effect of having the Jimmy Clausens of the world going to the combines and turning into recruiters for the schools that they have committed to. |

| Harrison Smith not being on this list is ridiculous. He was given the shaft. |

| They said the reason Smith was left off was because of his size. Everyone was saying 6-4 220 but he only measured at 6-0.5 201. |

| Austin is a tossup. We are in it as much as anyone(UM, Texas, ND, USC).
King is UGA or FSU bound.
Tolliver is likely Texas bound.
Berry is UT or UGA bound.
McKnight is LSU bound.
IDK about Miller. I'd say CU, USC, ND or Texas.
Barksdale is another tossup. FSU, UT, ND, UM, USC, Texas.
Taylor is VT bound.
Johnson is UM bound.
Tyler is USC or ND bound. |
